The second owners of this 1960 residence carefully renovated the interior and exterior of one of the few homes designed by I.M. Pei. The original specifications called for travertine floors throughout the house. This material was installed and then extended onto the adjacent terraces, connecting indoors and outdoors. The back terrace was raised to allow for a smooth transition between the kitchen and outdoor dining area. The front garden is centered on a reflecting pool, reinforcing the axial architecture of the house.
